One address, read most evenings. It reaches the people who take the captures, so a message about a latency figure gets a technical answer and a message about anything else gets a slower one.

Everything published here is measured from one place on one connection: round-trip times, rollback windows, the interval between a shot registering locally and registering on the server. That is a real limitation and it is stated in every review, but it also means a figure can be right about our conditions and wrong about the game.
If you have measured something different, the correction needs the conditions to be useful: your region, your connection type, the time of day, the game build, and whether the measurement was taken on an official server or a community one. Without those a differing number is not comparable to ours and cannot correct it.
The most valuable mail this publication receives comes from readers outside the region the desk sits in. Half the conclusions in the region note exist because players in places we cannot test from sent traces showing behaviour we would never have seen — matchmaking that silently crosses an ocean, a server list that hides its own nearest option, a tick rate that differs by region for no documented reason.
Raw captures are welcome and so are plain descriptions. Both get credited however you prefer, including anonymously.
Whether a game should favour the shooter or the target is a design argument rather than a measurement, and readers who think the tick rate note reaches the wrong conclusion are disagreeing rather than correcting. Those letters often produce the next log. They do not produce edits to published pieces.
Requests to test a game on a supplied account, because the method requires the game to be bought and played on an ordinary consumer connection rather than a press one. Invitations to closed technical tests, for the same reason: a server with fifty people on it tells a reader nothing about the one they will actually play on. Sponsored placements, affiliate arrangements and link exchanges are deleted after the first line.
Corrections: a few days. Traces and captures: a week or two, because they take an evening to read properly and sometimes a second evening to reproduce. General letters: read always, answered when there is something useful to say.
